Wingstop
Building on its experience delivering tile specifications for high-profile retail and hospitality projects, Verona Architectural Tiles was delighted to support the latest flagship opening for Wingstop at Manchester’s Arndale Centre.
The new restaurant is Wingstop’s 13th new store opening of the year and, as a flagship location, has been designed to deliver a distinctive experience for customers. Designed by We Are Harrison and fitted out by Onyx DB, the project combines a bold, contemporary aesthetic with a carefully considered palette of materials and finishes.
Verona Architectural supplied a diverse selection of tiles across the restaurant, with approximately 547m² specified in total.
The scheme features 288m² of Monteverde Oak, bringing a warm, natural timber aesthetic to the interior. This was complemented by 92m² of 300x100mm Central Matt Black, adding a striking contrast and reinforcing the restaurant’s bold visual identity.
For the floor areas, 64m² of 600x600mm Pols Light Grey and Graphite were specified alongside 82m² of 600x300mm Eton Anthracite, creating a durable and contemporary foundation for the busy hospitality environment.
The project also saw the introduction of a new product to the Wingstop portfolio, with 91m² of 1200x600mm Carved Haze 3D specified for the first time. Its distinctive three-dimensional surface adds texture and visual interest, helping to create a feature finish within the flagship restaurant.
“It was exciting for Verona to be involved in another flagship store for Wingstop, and a pleasure to supply our long-standing clients with the tiles that they required.” John Lannin
