Wingstop

Verona tiles exceeded expectations yet again on our flagship store.

What a delight it was for us to be chosen to supply the tiled finishes to the largest Wingstop in the UK. Sitting at over 5000 sq ft, offering 160 covers, and employing 140 staff, this truly is a statement restaurant from the fast-growing QSR operator.

Working directly with the client’s design team and fit-out contractor Onyx Design and Build, we curated a specification that encompassed a number of different design styles. On the main restaurant floor, the seating area used a future-proofed concrete effect porcelain tile from our Core range. A chevron-shaped wood effect porcelain tile was used in the walkways, with the contrast between the wood and the concrete gently guiding the patrons through the restaurant as the designer had intended. The chevron wood floor tile continued into the W/Cs where the walls were adorned with a stylish mid-format matt black rectangle tile.

The star of the tile show, however, was the entrance area. A large space opening directly onto the main food court area within Westfield required a flooring concept that just demanded attention. We were able to help with this through the specification of our Pols range of terrazzo-inspired porcelain. The white and black colours were used in a monochrome combination with a water jet cut panel proclaiming “WE RUN THE WING GAME,” confidently welcoming patrons into the space.
