Super 8 by Wyndham

Drawing on our long experience of hotel projects, leading commercial tile supplier Verona Architectural Tiles was chosen to help curate a tile package for the refurbishment of the Super 8 by Wyndham hotel in Durham.

Located on the A1 close to Durham’s historic city centre, this budget hotel seamlessly combines the functionality of a roadside hotel with a quirky style paying tribute to the city’s rich history. Working in collaboration with designers Soda Group and fit out contractor THWG, Verona Architectural Tiles supplied a tile package for the bathroom walls and circulation areas that provided a future proofed design but also offered a durable and easy to maintain solution.

Soda placed their trust in John Lannin whose experience with these project types gave both designer and contractor confidence that the tile finishes suggested would be a hassle free element of the project

The Loft collection proved the ideal choice for the hotel’s bathrooms. These concrete inspired porcelain tiles are suitable for both floor and wall applications, and the collection is particularly popular for commercial spaces with high footfall thanks to not only its durability but also its availability in a wide range of sizes and colours. A cream colour tone was specified which is a great choice for a warm and inviting ambience.
