VA were thrilled to be selected to supply the wall and floor tiled finishes to the upgraded Nandos restaurant in Bluewater, Kent.
Responding to a stunning scheme from Fusion Design & Architecture, Verona Architectural supplied a water jet cut floor in two tones of PTV>40 grey from our popular Eton range.
Normally, a complex scheme like this would be the shining star, but on this project, we were challenged to source bespoke design glazed terracotta tiles for the servery wall, offering a vibrant, handcrafted aesthetic that aligns with the brand’s identity while delivering durability and hygiene.
The designer required a vibrant colour palette and our glazed terracotta can be customised in bold reds, earthy oranges and sun-washed yellows, evoking the warmth of Southern Africa and Portugal. Thanks to an expert installation from Meridian Design & Build, the project looks absolutely fabulous.
On behalf of Verona, John Lannin commented.
“Jobs like this make me come alive. A complex water jet cut floor pattern paired with a bespoke design glazed terracotta is a tough combination for many suppliers to get right on a short lead time.
Thanks to our fantastic supply chain partners and the amazing Verona support team, everything came together beautifully. Not the biggest project, but an absolute gem."
