We are delighted to have been involved in the multi-million pound refurbishment of the Food Court at the McArthurGlen East Midlands Designer Outlet.

East Midlands Designer Outlet welcomes over 1.6 million visitors each year, so it was critically important that the flooring for the new flagship Food Court, was meticulously selected not only for its aesthetic quality but for the technical qualities of the product, due to the high volumes of foot traffic – ensuring it stays looking its best.

Working in collaboration with renowned hospitality designers Harrison and fit out contractor The Hurst Group, Verona Architectural Tiles supplied around 800m2 of high quality Italian porcelain tiles to the main Food Court floor, providing a future proofed design but also offering a durable and easy to maintain solution.

Harrison placed their trust in Simon Everingham to help them realise the outline ‘look and feel’ design with a product that met these design requirements.

The Masterpiece collection proved the perfect choice. This Venetian ‘Seminato’ inspired Terazzo was supplied in two tones of Grey to allow for a curved transition within the floor finish, providing a high-quality finish.

Not only highly durable, Masterpiece provides antibacterial protection thanks to its innovative ‘PROTECT system’ – eliminating microbes and preventing their reproduction.
